2011 Chapter Awards

Distinguished Service AwardDeborah MacPherson, CSI, CCS

For outstanding efforts producing the April 2011 Coordinated Technical Meeting; for managing and coordinating seven speakers and organizing their input into the promotional brochure; and most importantly, for having the vision to establish the concept for the entire meeting, one that was hard to grasp at first, but which was fresh, relevant and appealing to a broad audience of construction professionals, the Board presents you this Distinguished Service Award on the 8th day of June, 2011.

Chapter Distinguished Service Award

Awarded to an individual who has consistently, and in numerous ways, rendered continuing distinguished service to the Chapter in the advancement of its objectives over a period of not less than 3 years. This is the Chapter's highest award.

Limit: One such award per year.

 

Chapter Citation

Awarded to an individual, firm or organization for a single outstanding accomplishment involving both technical and educational activities, with significance extending outside the Chapter to Region, Institute or other industry organizations.

Limit: One such award per year.

 

Chapter President's Award

Awarded by the Chapter President, with sole discretion, for exceptional work performed on behalf of the Chapter.

Limit: One such award per year.

 

Chapter Organizational Certificate of Appreciation

Awarded to a firm or organization for cooperation or accomplishments which promote the objectives of the Chapter or Institute.

Limit: One such award per year.

 

Chapter Education Award

Awarded to an individual, firm or organization that has made a significant contribution to the field of education in areas related to the purposes of the Chapter or Institute.

Limit: One such award per year.

 

Chapter Technical Award

Awarded to an individual, firm or organization that has made a significant contribution to the technical program of the Chapter or Institute.

Limit: One such award per year.

 

Chapter Commendation: Awarded to an individual, firm or organization for a singular outstanding accomplishment which promotes the mission of the Chapter or renders outstanding service to the Chapter. Limit: Two such awards per year.

 

Chapter Merit Award

Awarded to an individual who has rendered notable service in the chapter in the advancement of Chapter objectives or in administration of the Chapter during the past year or more.

Limit: Two such awards per year.

 

Special Award

Presented by the Chapter Board for notable achievements promoting the purposes of the Chapter, Region or Institute.

Limit: Two such awards per year.

 

Certificate of Appreciation

Presented to each Board member and committee chairman not returning to the Board or chairmanship of the committee.

Limit: No limit to the number presented.
